| Manti High School Credit Recovery Policy
In line with South Sanpete School District’s policies and procedures, students who need to earn make-up credit through Manti High School’s online Edgenuity program will be charged $25 per 0.25 (¼) credit. The main office must receive receipt of payment prior to any student being enrolled in a specific Edgenuity course. Courses will not be “unlocked” until payment is received and verified. If a student does not complete all of the assigned work and/or does not earn a passing grade in an Edgenuity course within the school year they paid the credit recovery fee, they must pay another $25 per 0.25 (¼) credit if they choose to attempt the course, or a similar course that fulfills the same graduation requirement again next year. Students who enroll in and make adequate progress in a credit recovery course facilitated by MHS faculty are exempt from paying the credit recovery fee. These are courses taught by MHS staff, not using the Edgenuity program. All credit recovery Edgenuity courses, regardless of whether completed in an MHS credit recovery class or at home after school hours, will incur the $25 per .25 (¼) credit fee. Students on a fee waiver are exempt from paying fees related to credit recovery. A family’s fee waiver status may change yearly. |
