Students wishing to see a counselor during school should contact the counselor for an appointment and then go to class and request permission from the teacher to go to the counselor's office. Also, if unable to make an appointment with the counselor, you may sign your name on the "Need to See Counselor" clipboard. Students seeing the counselor should have a permission slip signed by the teacher and an admit signed by the counselor upon his/her return to class.
Students removed from class for citizenship reasons or any type of misbehavior should not go to the counselor's office, but make the principal's office their first stop.
The guidance department does not make decisions for you. It only provides information so that you may make more intelligent choices. When students finally make a decision they must accept the responsibility for those decisions.
