SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER

Within South Sanpete School District, the Board employs School Resource Officers to serve as the school’s law enforcement unit in carrying out the various safety functions of the school.  In doing so, the School Resource Officer is considered a school official with a legitimate educational interest and works in conjunction with the School and District Administration in providing security, safety, and protection for students and employees.
