ASSEMBLIES
Assemblies are a regularly scheduled part of the curriculum and are designed to be educational as well as entertaining experiences. They provide one of the few opportunities in school to learn formal audience behavior. Regardless of the type of program, it is expected that students be respectful and appreciative. Yelling, screaming, whistling, etc. is appropriate only at pep assemblies. Those students who misbehave during an assembly will be removed immediately from that assembly, and may miss the next assembly, reward activity, field trip or dance. Students who sluff an assembly will receive the same punishment as if they sluffed a class.
