Pickup & Drop-Off Safety Reminders
Your child’s safety is our top priority, and smooth traffic flow helps ensure a safe and stress-free start and end to every school day. Please review the map below to see designated pickup and drop-off locations. While these areas may not always be the most convenient, they have been carefully planned to protect students and keep traffic moving efficiently.

parking map

Approved drop off/pickup locations are highlighted in green.  Crosswalks are highlighted in yellow.  Students need to use crosswalks and not cross the road at random places.  Non Approved drop off/pickup locations are in red.  Non approved locations include school parking lots, bus and disabled parking zones, and areas around the school that don't have a sidewalk for students to safely walk to and from school.

  • If a person parks in a non approved area for pickup or drop off, that person must walk their child(ren) to and from a crosswalk until the child(ren) safely crosses the road.  Please only cross the road at crosswalks.
  • Law enforcement will monitor the roads around the school to ensure vehicles are complying with traffic laws such as speeding, flipping u-turns, stopping for school busses and traffic signs, etc.
  • The school opens at 7:45 in the morning.  School is dismissed at 2:35 in the afternoon.

Parking & Driving Expectations
To keep students, families, and staff safe, please follow these important guidelines:

  • Always follow posted traffic laws and be extra alert in school zones.
  • No double parking. Double parking blocks visibility and creates unsafe conditions.
  • No U-turns in front of the school. U-turns slow traffic and create dangerous situations for children and drivers.
  • Stop completely at all stop signs. Rolling through is unsafe in a busy school zone.
    • Do not go around a bus if the lights are on and be very careful driving around the bus when it is parked.  Kids will be near the bus.
  • Parking Lots. Do not drop off or pick up students in parking lots unless you have been authorized to do so—this forces children to walk between moving cars and through parking lots.
  • Park in designated areas. This helps traffic flow and keeps everyone safe.
  • During bad weather, low visibility, etc., please take extra caution.
  • Slow Down.

To help make pickup and drop-off smoother and safer for everyone:

  • Be consistent. Choose a regular pickup spot or walking route for your child(ren) and use it each day.
  • Use the buddy system. Encourage your child to walk with a sibling or friend whenever possible.
  • Practice safety. Talk with your child regularly about safe walking and traffic habits to and from school.
  • Whenever snowy/icy conditions occur, please use the cleared walkways maintained by our custodial team to reduce slipping hazards.  Please walk.

Thank you for working with us to keep every student safe and ensure daily routines run smoothly!
