Manti Elementary Community Council Minutes

March 20, 2019

Present:          Karen Soper, Amber Keisel, Lew Ann Jorgensen, David Ipson, Jake Dettinger,                              Melody Vincent, Jamie Fowles, Chris

-Looked at test results. Language arts seems to be holding where math has dipped a little bit.

-Possibility of spending money on a math program or something to give a boost in math.

-Reviewed suggested budget and tentatively approved it.

-Leadership day was a success. Kids did really well and feedback was all positive.

-Reviewed 2019-20 school year calendar with begin and end dates for students.

-Growth mindset- Teachers reading book and has been very helpful. Suggested all read it.
