Tardiness causes disruptions to the classroom activities. This causes the teacher to have to repeat and hold up the activity for the rest of the class. Anyone can be late, life happens, but chronic tardiness is a harmful behavior  - it shows respect for those around you. Therefore the policy will be as followed:

         Tardy #1 – Verbal Warning

         Tardy #2 – Student will be asked as to “Why?” they are late

                    - Warns that next tardy will eliminate them from the next activity

                    - Emails and/or calls parent to notify that the next tardy will eliminate student from next activity 

           Tardy #3 – Emails and/or calls parent to notify that the student is eliminated from the next 2 activities coming up. 

           Tardy #4 - The student and parent will meet with Teachers and Administration to set some goals and discuss further consequences.
