These items are not allowed in school. If someone disregards this policy and carries an electronic music device on their person or conceals such device for private entertainment during class, the device shall be confiscated and held in the office until school concludes in May. At that time the student may pick up the confiscated item from the office to take home. In the past, the intervention of well-meaning parents to circumvent the policy (i.e. appeal for the return of the confiscated item) has resulted in a repeat of the violation by the same student.
