U of U Housing Scholarship

The scholarship will award $7,000 for the academic year ($3,500 per semester in fall and spring) to help cover on-campus housing costs. The award is valid for the 2025-2026 academic year and is non-renewable.
In order to qualify for the award, students must:
- Be a Utah resident and a first-time freshman
- Have demonstrated financial need based on the 2025-2026 FAFSA
- File their FAFSA by March 1, 2025
- Apply to live in on-campus housing (the housing priority application deadline is April 1, 2025 and the first-year housing guarantee deadline is May 5, 2025)
