CELL PHONES - Update 9/15/2022

• Cell phones can be with the student before school, at lunch and after school. A student can have their cell phone in class, BUT CANNOT have it out or use it.  If they do the teacher will confiscate it.
• NO Cell phones in locker rooms or bathrooms.  When a student asks to go to the bathroom, the teacher will ask for their phone and when they return the teacher will return to the student.

Offenses:

First:

• Teacher brings to the office and the student can pick up after school.  

Second:

• Teacher brings to the office and the student can pick up after school.
• Parents are notified that if it happens again, the student will be eliminated from the next activity.

 Third: 

• Teacher brings to the office and the student can pick up after school. 
• Eliminated from the next activity

Fourth:

• Teacher brings to the office
• Office calls parent
• Parent will be asked to pick up the phone
• Parent meeting will be set to determine further consequences

Activities are:  Dances, assemblies, End of quarter activities, etc.

Logs will be made in Power School by the office and referred to each time a cell phone is confiscated.

Any communication device brought to school is subject to damage or theft and the school will not assume any liability for these items. After hour cell phone abuse will not be the schools responsibility to address.
