Student officers are sworn to uphold the school policies at all times. They should be an example of citizenship at all times, on campus, or off. Any student officer who fails to maintain the GVMS polices, or who fails to maintain the specified academic levels, shall be placed on probation,. For academics, the probation shall last through the end of the grading period the problem falls within. (1st, 2nd, 3rd , or 4th quarters)

If the probation is for rule violations, the length of time shall be determined by the student council, and approved by the administration. Any officer(s) on probation, shall not participate in any duties associated with their elected office, and may, in certain situations, be activity ineligible during the probationary period. Continual problems involving student officers may/will result in removal from the office under the GVMS Constitution.
