The children chosen for these groups are individuals who need additional resources. Currently they are doing a Life Change Group. This group helps aid in peer support and giving them the tools to manage feelings and learn coping skills. Jaylynn has also implemented a mental health day for teachers.

New marquee – The district was able to use COVID money to purchase all new digital displays for the their schools.

PCBL – Our leadership team has been to 2 of their 4 training this year. They go and collect information and come back and report to our teachers.

  • Education is moving in a more individualized movement
  • This program will take a few years to implement
  • Parents will have to be involved on a different level
  • Grading will be different – no letter grades
  • As part of the transition multiple students/staff/parents are being interviewed in the coming weeks. This will help know what the baseline needs to be with implementing this program.
