  • Reviewed and approved minutes from our last meeting on 9/19/2023.
  • TSI (Targeted School Intervention): This program is designed for ELL (English Language Learners). GVMS is using UDL (Universal Design for Learning) for teachers to help our Spanish speaking students break down the language barrier. GVMS is so lucky to have  Alisa Liddiard as our ELL teacher. She is always going above and beyond to help the students and their families.
  • Reviewed items for 23-34 Trust Land Plans. Decision was made to stay with  plan and dollar amounts for 24-25.
  • Went over letter from Governor Cox on cell phones and social media in public schools.

GVMS has decided to reinforce the cell phone policy we currently have in place. Adam talked to teachers individually, and the overall opinion was to keep our policy as is. Teachers said overall cell phones haven’t been a problem in class.
