Paraeducator Substitutes for the Severely Multiple Handicaped  will be paid a factor (*1.50) of the paraeducator substitute wage.  
Example: Pareducator substitute wage is (STEP 0)$7.86. The new amount will be :($7.86*1.50=$11.79) or 50% higher.  
  Any Educational Assistant receiving retirement and/or health insurance benefits is not eligible for this factor.  
                               
***Note: Paraeducators only.  Experience placement on the salary schedule will not exceed two steps above the education years. 
Example:  Someone with four years of college and ten years of experience will not be placed higher than Step 5.(Step 3+2 steps)  
Any  Paraeducator or Secretary moving from one lane to another lane/position                 
will be placed on the Salary Step that most closely matches his/her current hourly wage. (Not Cust, Cooks, or Drivers)  
 District-appointed technology specialists will be paid on the Secretarial Lane.                  
 Step One on the Custodians Lane will never exceed double the minimum wage.  ($7.25 *2 = $14.50 Maximum)   (minimum wage $7.25 July 24, 2009)
 Seasonal Step on the Custodians Lane will always be $2.00 above the minimum wage.

  Assistant Principals will be paid at step 10 or greater of their regular teachers contract and will receive an additional 1/7 of that amount.       
  The Middle School Assistant Principal will also receive 3% of Step 1 of the appropriate lane of the Administrative Salary Schedule (210 days).      
  The High School Assistant Principal will also receive 7% of Step 1 of the appropriate lane of the Administrative Salary Schedule (220 days).     
  High School Assistant Principals will receive an additional $2,500 for activity supervision.              
                                   
  Three additional days @ $200 per day are approved for Principals/Directors for inservice, professional enhancement, etc.       
  All additional days must be approved by the Superintendent.
